Kiruba is a female Asian elephant who lives in Corbett National Park, in the Terai Arc lowlands of India. Kiruba is the dominant female in an extended family of 24 elephants. As the matriarch of the group she is relied upon to find food, water and safe habitat.
From just £2 a month, you can adopt Kiruba. Your support will enable WWF to secure a future for Kiruba and other elephants in this area, and to develop our work in the Terai Arc region.
It will also help us fund our vital elephant programme in Kenya, and provide support for TRAFFIC - the wildlife trade monitoring network that helps track the illegal ivory trade.
